The economic growth experienced in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the first half-year 2007 – 4 % – was the strongest in all of Germany.
Since 2004 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s rate of unemployment has fallen at a rate unmatched by any other area in Germany.
