The Hamburg-based telecommunications company together with the Telecom Italia subsidiary HanseNet are to establish a service centre in Rostock, initially creating over 100 new jobs. The site in Rostock will serve as the service and support centre for broadband internet customers nationwide. The company was founded in 1995 and recorded a turnover of € 102 million for the year 2003. It currently employs around 400 people. Michael Sturm, Managing Director of the business development company Rostock Business, worked closely with HanseNet from the very beginning, supporting the company’s establishment of the Rostock location. Mr. Sturm sees this as a further achievement in developing Rostock into a significant location for service providers. |
